The Fellow Programme in Business Strategy is designed to create an environment for leading and aspiring strategists and key decision makers from diversified organizations to build a research-driven approach to understanding strategy formulation, decision making and implementation. With a multi-disciplinary outlook, fellows broaden their scope of learning and practical implementation of such learning. Researchers explore and create new dimensions around how various organizations and industry segments develop and sustain their competitive advantage. Drawing on both microeconomics as a foundation for strategy, as well on other complementary disciplines, fellows develop an understanding towards how leaders perceive options and make strategic choices. This requires comprehending cognition, and drawing from psychology and behavioural sciences. Other elements in non-market strategy and addressing regulatory environments draw on political science and law. With the fellows engaging in in-depth study, while being supported by mentors at every stage, fellows initiate the examination of questions pertaining to organizational strategy, and introduce new dimensions to looking at strategic decision making.
